Hi Mary, A friend of mine has transcribe some Barraclough entries from the Bishops Transcript for Birstall Parish Church between 1684 and 1750. But not all the entries. Are the films for the Birstall Parish Church Register copy or the Bishops Transcripts copy. 2 set's were kept, the church had a copy and another copy was supposed to the sent to the Bishop at Bradford. There are quiet a few Parish Registers that have gaps, and we then order the Bishops Transcript and fill in the missing years. Rob, have you transcribed Birstall ? Can you shed any light on this missing year or have any ideas ? If not I will ask Don, as I know he was doing some transcriptional work on the Birstall Parish Register I did note from the Locality Fiche on Tuesday that the film number for the Birstall Parish Register Bishops Transcript which include the years 1814-1817,1818,1820,1822 are on film number 0990527, you will notice that they years 1819 and 1821 are missing. They don't ever make it easy for us do they :-(( We, will get an answer for you and everyone else, Mary Best Wishes Kim Pasquill Victoria-AUST Email: [email protected] ICQ Number: 30110913 Mary L.
