    3. Hi Lyn Do not despair, you will get lots of info from this most helpful of groups. My Barracloughs are from the Horton area, but the group has lots of information on the ones from Wisbey, and I am sure that more people will respond to your request. Regards Anne

    3. Thank you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This family is so elusive. I wish that I'd had the foresight to start this family history thing in the 80's when there was someone around to answer all/any/even just one my questions. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.... as the saying goes. LOL! Just a small comment here. I had hoped to utilize the Bradford Archives but 35 pound sterling an hour equates to about $80 or $90 Australian and I just cant justify that kind of expense. I wish they had a more realistic price structure. You can have the Tasmanian archives searched for $22 Australian! And for that they'll send you as much as they can find in an hour, including postage! I have to wonder what is so special about Bradford. :( Lyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Welch" <anne@welch5171.fslife.co.uk> To: <BARRACLOUGH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 12, 2004 12:56 AM Subject: Re: [BARRACLOUGH] Barraclough/Wilkinson > Hi Lyn > > Do not despair, you will get lots of info from this most helpful of groups. > My Barracloughs are from the Horton area, but the group has lots of > information on the ones from Wisbey, and I am sure that more people will > respond to your request. > > Regards > Anne > > > > > ==== BARRACLOUGH Mailing List ==== > To check out previous messages to the List, go to > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/BARRACLOUGH/ > > >
