I am still desperately trying to find my 4x gt grandmother Lydia Barraclough mother of my 3x gt grandfather Samuel Barraclough.He was the middle son of Lydia.She had 2 sons named William born 1826 and 1833,both died.Samuel was born 1830 and baptised (as where both Williams) at the church in Wibsey.Samuels marriage certificate (married in 1850 Tong Parish Church) states that his parent was Lydia Barraclough Single woman. (I have no idea if she was still alive at the time of Samuels marriage) There is a Samuel Barraclough on the 1841 census living with a John Barraclough and his wife Isabella at New Begin Wibsey.Samuel is aged 11yrs and it says he is the son of John and Isabella ? is he their son or grandson.Does anyone know if John and Isabella had a daughter named Lydia.? On the IGI I have found 2 Lydia's one born 17/7/1800 father John Barraclough 2,Lydia Barroclough b 31/3/1805 mother Martha Barroclough.Is there anyone who has info about these two,so I can either connect them to my Barraclough's or rule them out.
