Hi Everyone, Not sure if this has been posted before, but if you check the online index to assisted immigration to Victoria, Australia, there are 48 Barraclough entries on there - some may be Kim's, but none are mine. http://proarchives.imagineering.com.au/index_search.asp?searchid=4 I read that by December the Unassisted may be on there too. Worth a look if you have any disappearing off the face of the earth. Cheers Linda Victoria, Australia
Hi Linda, Many thanks for the posting, but a warning to others. Make sure if your ancestor is amongst them that the name of the Ship is Correct. My lot are there, and showing the ship "Zes Gesusters" INCORRECT, have no idea where they got that name from. They emigrated on the ship "The Six Sisters". Go figure :-) Cheers Kim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Barraclough" <kapana@netspace.net.au> To: <BARRACLOUGH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 15, 2003 6:22 AM Subject: [BARRACLOUGH] Lost a Barraclough? > Hi Everyone, > > Not sure if this has been posted before, but if you check the online index > to assisted immigration to Victoria, Australia, there are 48 Barraclough > entries on there - some may be Kim's, but none are mine. > > http://proarchives.imagineering.com.au/index_search.asp?searchid=4 > > I read that by December the Unassisted may be on there too.
