Hi Jeff, A long time ago I looked at the original Bradford PC registers right from the very beginning ; could hardly read/understand them and gave up in despair. I copied down the transcript and thought that someday I'd try to check the marriages against the originals just to see if the transcriber had got them right,but I never got round to it. I have also got 50 baptisms from 1599 to 1700 from the same transcript,therefore not 100% certain if they are accurate.They should all be checked against the original records too. I'll post them on the list in the next day or so,they might be of interest to someone. Cheers--------------Derek 1

Hi Derek & Jeff, Derek, we would love the 50 baptism entries, I only have 11 :-( but don't go overdoing it. I know your back is not right yet. So only small batches, and if it get's to much then leave it for another time. Jeff, you putting your database on line, would be wonderful. I had all the intensions of puting a lot of mine on line, but just never get the time to do it. But hope to put some more transcripts on when I have a week off work after Xmas. Re: what prompted me to advertise you and Rob's services, well I had been meaning to do it for ages, as you both have been an enomous help to me, with Barraclough material. And I'm sure like me, there are others on the list who from time to time need to get cert's etc. from England. I would rather get someone who I know is very reliable and has had a lot of experience in researching in the records I'm looking for.
