Another interesting search tool (although I MAY have posted it before) is http://www.ww2roll.gov.au/script/name.asp#searchtabs and type in Barraclough. There are 38 with that surname who served in the Australian Armed Forces in World War II. Eight were born in England and one in New Zealand. You get a full date of birth, and if you click on their names once you have the list up you get details such as place of enlistment, where they were living at time of enlistment, next of kin etc. May be a few missing twigs in there for someone.
