Hi Mycal, Welcome to our group, first of all it would help us, if we knew what country your parents were marriaged and born in ? do you have a copy of their marriage certificate ? and or their birth certificates ?. Don't send personal information via the group on anyone who is still living, that is a policy I always recommend to others and apply it my self. So in other words don't send birth dates of anyone who is still living via the net, this is to protect their privacy. I will try and guide you through the process of tracing your family tree, but I am no expert, and will sometimes have to get you to ask question's to the group for answers if I don't know the answer.
