Early on in my recent unwilling stay at the BRI,I found myself in the next bed to a Leslie Barraclough.The nurses were convinced that we should be related,and when he said that his father was called Frank,I also thought it might be possible [my ancestry has Frank/Francis in almost every generation for c.350 years] Then he said that Frank's father had been a Cornelius Barraclough,and I had a re-think ! You don't get many Cornelius Barracloughs to the pound !! I estimate that the approx.birthdates of these three were------- Cornelius--c.1860 Frank [might be bap.Francis]--c.1890 Leslie--c.1920. It would be wonderful if someone on the list has this trio in their family ; and amazing if,after all,they fit into my own family somewhere. Cheers----------Derek.
