Greetings Jeff, Thanks for that----But----Oh dear !-----sorry to rain on your parade [as the Americans say] ---that particular Thomas [son of William and Hannah],was still back home in Clayton West in 1851,whereas the Thomas I'm seeking was definitely in Bradford in 1851,1861,1871,1881, but thanks a lot for trying to help. As you know only too well in this game---you can't win 'em all !!!! I think the chap I'm seeking was bap.im 1822,a son of a James B.of that Clayton West/High Hoyland area.His age was most consistent on all 4 census that I have,and lead straight back to 1821-1822.
