Greetings list, Whilst it is quiet, thought I would just post a couple of little queries I have regarding some Barracloughs from the Wibsey and North Bierley areas: Firstly I would like to find out who this lady married prior to the following marriage, to become a Barraclough: St. Paul's, Buttershaw, Bradford - Marriages 4 Feb 1922 James HOLDEN, 45, Bach, Warehouseman, 24 St. Helena Road, Wibsey, Rufus HOLDEN, Watchman Mary Ellen BARRACLOUGH, 36, Wid, 5 Coll Place, Odsal, Stephen BOOTH, Woolsorter Secondly I have a Hammond BARRACLOUGH, born abt 1873 in North Bierley. He married Annie ORMONDROYD in 1889. I do not have the marriage record, so do not know who Hammond’s father was and I cannot trace him in the 1881 census. Any ideas about his background?
