Hi again Kim & Nicki, Now that I've looked through the notes I made at the FRC yesterday, I'd put money on these two being the ones you want: Year, Quarter, Surname, Forenames, MaidenName, District, Vol, Page 1920, Jun, Barraclough, Stanley, Barraclough, Chorlton, 8c, 1479 1922, Mar, Barraclough, Violet M., Barraclough, Chorlton, 8c, 1248 If you'd like the details of the other Stanleys (2 Barracloughs, 1 Barrowcliffe and 1 Barrowclough) just let me know, but I'm optimistic that if you order birth certificates for these two they will prove to be the right ones. Chorlton is in the Manchester area, and the middle initial is right for Violet Miriam. They're just a bit younger than Nicki thought. Best wishes, Peter
