Hi List, I have just received this from jean, who is not (yet) on the list. Can anyone help??? I was particularly interested to see a Colonel and an Admiral in the children. My grandfather, born in 1870s Australia, was named Major! Is this a naming pattern anyone has struck anywhere else? I'm looking for descendants of Joseph & Harriet Barraclough (née Wright) who married in Bradford in 1824. Their children were Ezra, Francis, Esther, Naomi, Mary, John., Richard, Ruth, Colonel, Admiral & Grace (my great-grandmother) The children were born between 1825 & 1850, & they all lived in or around Wibsey.
