Hi Jeff, I got my info.on Abraham and his wives and offspring many years ago,from June Benn's monumental box of Barraclough gen.at the Archives in Bradford.I never thought of re-researching her work,so this is what I have on his wives----- June believed his 1st wife was Jane AWDREY ; the marriage being c.1603 ; the children being Mary 1604,John 1606,William 1608,Francis 1610, and Jane 1612 ; Jane [wife] dying 1614 & being buried at Fewston 24.4.1614. Abraham's 2nd.wife,June believed to be Agnes Rileye [b.Warley,bap.24.10.1585].This 2nd.marriage was 1.7.1617 [Halifax PC] ; the children being Hester 1618,Ellen 1620 and Jonas 1627. June made no mention of a 3rd wife,but the gap between Ellen and Jonas certainly suggests there could have been the death of wife No.2,and a marriage to wife No,3.whoever she was. I will be most interested to know your thoughts on this,and I've put it on list to see what others think too. Cheers-------Derek.
