Hi Derek de B According to me, and what I have put together from the Barraclough list, but which I have tried to verify from other sources (Not always successful) The parenst of the Francis Barraclough that married Hannah Tordoff were : Jonas Barraclough Bap at Coley Chapel 2 Dec 1688 ( But this not verified) He had two wives (one at a time) 1) Elizabeth PEEL marriad at Bradford 17 Dec 1712 Children Abrah. son of Jonas Barraclough baptised 6th January 1714 [ Married Hannah Pullen] Joshua Abt 1717 Ann 1719 2) Alice Longley Md 13 May 1720 at Bradford Children Thomas son of Jonas Baraclough baptised 25th December 1723 Francis son of Jonas Barraclough, Labourer baptised 25th Dec 1725 Jonas Barraclough - No info. So any addition / correction from anyone would be welcome. Hi Pete, I have Jonas born about 1690 the son of Jonas and Margaret Copley who married in 1680 at Bradford Parish Church. Their other children were baptised at Wibsey Chapel and Bradford Parish Church, two at each. I'm not aware of the Coley baptism but my guess is that the baptism would have been at Wibsey Chapel, but that the record has not survived. All this information is on the Barraclough database on my website.
