    3. Hello de b I have this noted as Parish Register entry reads: Abram. son of Francis Barraclough baptised 5th July 1761 Is there a problem with this ??? My notes of the father Francis BARRACLOUGH are This will was proven Apr 1799 WILL OF FRANCIS BARRACLOUGH HUSBAND OF HANNAH TORDOFF AND MARTHA ? This is the last will and testament of me FRANCIS BARRACLOUGH of Wibsey in the Township of Northbierley in the Parish of Bradford in the County of York Worsted Stuffmaker. I give and bequeath to MARTHA My beloved wife all my interest in the Mussages or Tenament Barn and Buildings called Chapel-House situate at Wibsey Low Moor in Wibsey aforeside and the Close of Land to the same belonging which I farm under JOHN TORDOFF. And also all my interest in the Lands and Grounds in Wibsey aforesaid which I farm under the REVEREND SAMUEL HUDSON Clerk And also all and singular such debts as shall be due and owing to one at the time of my Decease from any Person or Persons whomsoever for Liquors Ale or any other Mater or Thing belonging to or concerning my Business of an innkeeper at Chapel House aforesaid. To hold to her the said MARTHA my Wife during the term of her natural life if she shall so long continue my Widow but not otherwise. She Paying thereout the Rents due and to become due for the abovementioned Mussage or Tenement Lands and Premises and performing and fulfilling the Covenants and Agreements on my part and behalf to be performed fulfilled and kept in the Oringinal Lease or Leases of the said Premises. And also Paying all such of my Just Debts as shall be owing by me at the time of my Decease for Malt Hops Liquors or any other Matter or thing which shall have been brought to or used in or about the said Mussage or Tenement Lands and Premises called Chapel House aforesaid and my Funeral Expences and the expences of Proving this my Will. But in case the said MARTHA my Wife shall happen to marry again. Then I give and bequeath all the abovementioned Hereditaments and Presmises unto JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons. Upon Trust and Confidence nevertheless that they my said two sons or the surviror of them or the executors or administrators of such surviror do and shall enter into the Profession of the Tenements Hereditaments and Premises abovementioned and receive and take the Rents and Profits thereof during the Life of my said Wife and after Paying thereout all such Rents and Payments as may from time to time become due and payable in respect of the said Premises pay the Annual Sum of Ten Pounds unto my said Wife by tow equal half yearly payments in every year the first payment thereof to begin and be made at the end of Six Months next after her Marriage again, during the term of her natural life. And from and immediately after the Decease of my said Wife. Upon Trust that they my said two sons or the survivor of them or the executors or Administrators of such survivor do and shall divide and Pay all such Overplus Moneies as may thou remain in their hands out of the Rents and Profits of the Tenements Hereditaments and Premises above mentioned after paying the Rents and Payments from time to time to become due and payable in respect of the said Premises and the said Annuity of Ten Pounds unto my said Wife during her Life as aforesaid unto and equally amongst all such of the children of my said Wife which she had by a former Husband as shall be living at the time of the Decease of my said Wife Share and Share alike. And from and immediately after the Decease of my said Wife Then I give and bequeathe all the Tenements Hereditaments and Premises abovementioned unto and equally between thou the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH To hold to thou their Executors Administrators and Assigns for and during all the term and interest I may thou have therein as Tenants in Commerece and not as Joint Tenants for their own Joint and equal Benefit and Advantage. Subject nevertheless to the Payment and Performance of the Rents Covernants and Agreements contained in the Original Lease and Leases thereof I Give and devise and bequeathe to JOHN BARRACLOUGH, FRANK BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons one stand or stall in Bradford Piece Hall in Bradford aforesaid marked Number (no number inserted) . To hold to them my said three sons their Heirs and Assigns for ever as Tenants in Commerce and not as Joint Tenants. I Give and Devise to the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH MY SONS All and singular my Cottages Dwellinghouses or Tenements Hereditaments and Premises situate and standing lying and being in Wibsey aforesaid in whose Tenures or Occupations soever the same or any of thou are or be with their Apprentacices. To hold to thou the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons their Heirs and Assigns for over or according to such Estate and Interest as I have therein as Tentants in Common? And not as Joint Tenants. I also Give and bequeath to the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons all the interest I have in the Farm I now hold under Lease from MR.JOHN LEATHLEY situate in Wibsey aforesaid with the Lease therof Subject ot the Payment and Performance of the Rent, and Convenants in the said Lease thereof contained and on my Part and behalf to be paid done and performed. And also all my Goods, Chattels, Cattle, Husbandry Gear, Wool Yarn Pieces, Utensils and Things used in and about my Trade of a Worsted Stuffmaker. Debts owing or in any wise belonging to me on Account of my said Trade of a Worsted Stuffmaker and all other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever not above by me bequeathed to the said MARTHA my Wife as aforesaid. To hold unto and equally between them the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons their executors and administrators. They? Paying out the same the sum of Fifty pounds to GRACE wife of SAMUAL THORNTON my daughter the sum of One hundred Pounds unto FRANK BARRACLOUGH my son and the sum of Twenty Pounds to MARTHA FLETCHER my daughter. The said three several Legacies to be Paid to them at the End of Twelve Months next after my Decease. And the sum of Ten Pounds unto HANNAH FLETCHER daughter of the said MARTHA FLECTCHER my daughter to be paid to her when she shall attain the age of Twenty One years. The sum of Ten Pounds unto MARY FLETCHER daughter of the said MARTHA FLETCHER my daughter to be paid to her when she shall attain the Age of Twenty One Years. The sum of Ten Pounds unto MARTHA FLETCHER another of the daughter of the said MARTHA FLETCHER my daughter to be paid to her when she shall attain the Age of Twenty One Years. The sum of Ten Pounds unto EDWARD FLETCHER son of the said MARTHA FLETCHER my daughter to be paid to him when he shall attain the Age of Twenty One Years. And if it shall happen that any of the children of the said MARTHA my daughter shall die before he or she attain their respective ages of Twenty One Years. Then I will that the share of him or them so saying shall go and be paid unto and equally amongst the survirors or surviror of them, share and share alike. And I do hereby Charge and make Subject all the said last mentioned cottages and Personal Estate with the Payment thereof accordingly. And I do herby nominate constiturte and appoint the said JOHN BARRACLOUGH and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH my sons Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament herby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretobefore made. And it is my Will and Meaning that my said two sons JOHN and ABRAHAM BARRACLOUGH shall not be answerable or accountable for the Acts Deeds Receipts or Disburstments of the other of them but each of them sall be answerable for his own sperate Acts Deeds Receipts and Disbursments And I do hereby direct that my said Trustees shall and may Pay and reimburse themselves and himself out of the Rents and Profits of the Tenaments Hereditaments and Premises above by me given to them after the marriage again of my said Wife as aforesaid. All reasonable and neccessary Costs Charges and Expences whatsoever that they or either of them shall or may bear Pay exound or be ? unto in or about the Trust above by me reposed in them my said Trustees with respect to the said Premises and for their trouble and loss of Time in executing the Trust there of . Witness where of I hve to this my Will contained in Tour Sheets of Paper set my Hand and Seal to wit, my Hand to the bottom of the first three sheets and my hand and seal to this last sheet this First Day of October in the Year of our Lor One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Eigjht. This Writing contained in for sheets of Paper was signed and sealed by the said Testor FRANCIS BARRACLOUGH and by him Published and Declared as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of Us The Ensaueres and Interlications? Made Singed Geo Broddeu, Berj Beldon, Stephen Barraclough Parish Register entry reads: Francis son of Jonas Barraclough, Labourer baptised 25th Dec 1725 Monumental Inscription at Holy Trinity Church reads: Here lies the body of WILLIAM BARRACLOUGH who departed this life the 7th day of march in the 14th year of his life.
