Hi Elizabeth Thank you for your info I think we might have some thing there, I have seen the Barraclough's on Long Row but had no connections but it sounds promising with the Brooke connection, I also have Jonas's son married to a Catherine A Brooke they got married in Birstall and her parents came from there they were William and Judith,I wondered if they were slightly related to Hannah not her brother but could have been cousinsshe was born 1841 and Thomas b 1838 so there could be a connection what do you think At that time Oakenshaw was classed as Birstall so they might have only been there.
