Married MARY VORSE 2 Aug 1838 at Lancaster Parish Church, Lancashire. Stephen and Mary emigrated on the shiop the Six Sisters and arrived at the Port of Geelong in Victoria on the 13th Jan 1853 together with 5 of their children, namely Hannah, Mary Ann, William Thomas, Susannah and newly born Sarah Jane. Stephen and Mary had the following children: MARY JANE born 23 Apr 1839 at Lancaster, Lancashire, bap: 11th Jun 1839 at the Independent Chapel, Lancaster, Lancashire.
