May you all have a very happy New Year and I would like to thank the wonderful people who have been searching Barraclough information and posting it. I will take Kim's advice and again post my research aim. I am still trying to find a record of the marriage of Joseph Barraclough and Elizabeth Sherwood, who are my grgrandparents probably lived in Eccleshill and if that is the case and I have found the right family on the 1881 census, then Elizabeth was born in Kirkby and as there was an Elizabeth Sherwood born in Kirkby Moorside about the right time I have sent inquiries for the marriage there.
