Hello everybody, I am Jeff Sutcliffe, living at Birstall, just down the road from Wibsey. My Barraclough connections are from Nancy (1789 - 1841) who married John Wilkinson and Mary (1773 - 1837), daughter of Stephen and Mary Barraclough, who married John Collins. Whilst reading the numerous recent e-mails I noticed that Betty Feldman of California wrote "I am researching Ann Barraclough, who married James Smith on 7 Aug 1769 in the Bradford Parish Church." I too am researching Smith's. On my database I have a James Smith of Horton who was buried at Wibsey Chapel on 2 July 1819 aged 73. Could this be him? I got this reference from the Bishops' Transcripts, at Bradford Library, on microfilm. If Betty would like to contact me I may be able to assist with her Smith's.
