Their son was named Joseph Roland, born 5. April 1900 in Leeds, England. He married Elizabeth Dykens Essenwine, who was born 16. Oct 1889 in Victoria, B.C., on 30. March 1921 in Vancouver, B.C. He died 8. May 1968 in Vancouver, B.C. The last Barraclough is my grandmother, Gloria, who I believe may still be on this list... Any info would be appreciated! Dear Jennifer,My name is Ann Barraclough Mullaney and I was born in Low Moor ,Bradford,Yorkshire in 1939.I'm sorry I don't have any information on your ancestors but you said that obviously your dates were flawed.I feel I should mention that it was not at all unusual to have children first and marry later.My father's oldest brother and sister were in this position.It was to do with inheriting property---in our case my Grandfather was not supposed to marry until the age of 21, so he waited to marry even though two children were already born.
