Hi Everyone, Below is a transcript of the transcript of Holy Trinity Church Wibsey Parish Register together with the Bishop's Transcript that was transcribed by Hartley Thwaite in the 1960's. Please only use this as an index, and if you find an entry that you think belongs to you, please either check the Holy Trinity Church Wibsey Parish Register or the Bishop's Transcripts for Wibsey. There is a copy of the Bishops Transcripts held at Bothwick Institute. The Transcript covers the years 1661-1837. But please be aware that there are years missing and some years seem to be incomplete. The missing years are: 1662,1663, 1664,1670, 1690, 1695, 1697, 1700-1703 (Although Mr. Thwaite tells us that the transcripts for Bistall and Bradford during this time period of 4 years suggests that many more bap, mar & bur of Wibsey residents took place at those 2 churches than was normal) May be there was building works going on at H.T. Wibsey during those years ? Also the year 1724 is missing. Years that seem to be incomplete are: 1664-1688, 1693 & 1715. I have only come across one Barraclough so far, that I think may belong to one of the missing years, 1724. There was a Francis Barraclough I think that was baptised in that year, but until I can find a Will that shows Francis as a son, than I can not be 100% sure.
