    3. Greetings again Derek, Not one to be easily put off, I completed the search of Clayton West, without finding any other Barraclough families. Then I searched Denby and only found John aged 35 a Carter. Then I had a look at High Hoyland and found: - At High Hoyland Thomas Barraclough aged 25 Fancy Weaver Ann Barraclough aged 21 Eliza Barraclough aged 1 All born in Yorkshire. The reference is HO 107 / 1324 / 01 Wapentake of Staincross, Ecclesfield, Parish of Penistone, High Hoyland, District 2, Township of Denby, page 15 Is this him?? As you know only too well in this game---you can't win 'em all !!!! I think the chap I'm seeking was bap.im 1822,a son of a James B.of that Clayton West/High Hoyland area. His age was most consistent on all 4 census that I have, and lead straight back to 1821-1822. Cheers-------Derek. ps.He was married 3 times in Bradford,so If I can get the right cert.I'll get his father.
