Dear All, (and Derek, hope you continue to improve), Has anyone, anywhere got any Bingley Barras? As a starting point, Joseph Barraclough married Martha Wilson at Bingley PC on 16/7/1811 and they were both "of this parish". They later settled in Eccleshill. He was a cordwainer but died in 1825, at Eccleshill. Derek did a lot of research for me about two years ago, and this is where he stopped then. Has anyone any information on the family in Bingley? I have the Admon that Martha swore. Joseph was worth less than 5 pounds at his death. Has anyone a christening at Bingley for Joseph or Martha round about 1790? Hi Kim, I posted the info.re the Assessment of Lightcliffe in 1590,with those 5 Barraclough males recorded on it,A WHOLE MONTH AGO on October 24th.!!!!!!!!! That burial in 1590 could apply equally to any of the John Barracloughs on that list,couldn't it ? Only Wills are likely to solve the problem.
