I found the book on line. I've finished chapters 7 thru 10 and find nothing of interest. Am I in the right place online?? I did not find anything new won my family but seem to remember seeing info about John Barr ca 1815. The names in two or three different families are so much the same that it get confusing. I don't remember just what chapter. LOL ! Tom, I'm beginning to think the ALL the Barr families were very narrow-minded about naming their children. They all seem to share the same five or six names! I'm still digging. I have Barrs from the Indiana County PA area that may be related. Adam Barr (b. 1844) and Mary Falconer came from Scotland to PA. They had five children: George, William, Thomas Maggie, Elizabeth. Thomas Barr married Cora May Kohl and had 11 children: Homer, Alexander, George, Margaret, Robert, Thomas Jr., Charles Adam, Sara, Viola, Gladys, Gwendolyn. Gladys married Thomas T. Lynch, my grandfather. The Barrs owned and operated the Barr Farm in Clearfield, which is still in the family. Any connection?
