William, I was unable to view your attachments, as they are not allowed on rootsweb, but I did check out your website that was listed on the bottom. I was interested in your Barr and Irwin connections. I have a Mariah Jane Irwin born 1824/25 to James Irwin. He was born in PA according to census records, possibly the Westmoreland area. By the time Mariah was born they were living in Barnett Twp, which was located in then Forest County, PA. This Mariah Irwin married H. H. Barr, aka Harvey, Harry and Henry in various census and church records. I was curious about your comment about the Irwins being "asked" to remove from Scotland to Norther Ireland, as there has been some confusion about the origins of this family, with the term "Scotch Irish" used in family stories. Would love to hear from you either on or off the list if you have attachments that would shed light on my Barr Irwin ancestors.
