Grace Frances Barr born Feb. 22, 1882 married Charles Bechtel Johnson born July 29, 1873. They were married Jan. 1, 1904 at Old St. Georges Church in Philadelphia. My grandfather was from New Berlinville, Pa. near Boyertown, my grandmother was from Michigan (to the best of my knowledge). I don't know who her parents were but her father was a Civil War vet and I have his medal but have no idea of his first name or anything about her mother. Often middle names were given using the mother's name and I wondered if her mother's name might be Frances. I don't know how my grandmother got to Philadelphia except possibly she visited her sister Emma Lucan Barr who married Charles Trout also of Philadelphia. I know a little about that family having visited back and forth regularly. There were other members of her family: a sister Mabel who lived in Jacksonville, Fla., a sister in Liberty, NY (don't remember her name), and two brothers who were never heard from and I think their names were Alfred and Fred. I know they tried in vain to find them. Thanks for responding and if you can direct me to another source I would appreciate it.
