John Barr born in Maryland Md: Mary Buck 1 Apr 1838 in Ohio John died 28 Mar 1891 in Greene Co., IA in the County poor farm. According to his obit. there was no family at his funeral. I am so curious to know why none of the following children cared enough about him to go. Or was it the conditions of the times. I'm dying to know why the poor man was so alone!!! Moses Eli Jones 25 Sep 1873 Greene Co., IA Charity Barr born 1854 in Greene Co., IA Md: William Morain 1 Oct 1871 Her father (John) moved to Greene Co., in Jan 1854 Marion Barr born 1855 Greene Co., IA d: 1870 I hope someone out there has some information on one of these families.
