Eliza Barr, dau of David Barr and Barbara RESH. Jacob Herr is listed as the son of Isaac Herr (#381) and Catherine Miller. David Barr m. Barbara RUSH is given in the book also, as number 1202, but here at 1372 the number is not included. However, this could still be the same David Barr, since the editor occasionally failed to insert numbers with names in positions such as this. Can anyone verify this info from another source? I am actually interested in Barbara Rush/Resh and her parents. Another source says that Elizabeth Barr, d/o David and Barbara, married Martin Barr. I was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1969 to Robert William Barr, son of William Barr II or III. I really have been disconnected from that side of my family all my life and have been having a hard time finding anything about that line. I know that my great grandfather was William Barr who was born and lived in Canada. William Barr had a sister I know was named Isabell or Isabella. He met Jane in Canada from what I can tell, then they both moved to Cleveland, Ohio and had my grandfather William Barr II or III. That William had my father and my 3 aunts, Darlene, Phyllis an ? He moved to the US per the US Census but from what i can tell was never naturalized to the US. My Great Grandfather came from Scotland and had William in Canada. All i know is that William married a woman I believe was named Jane nee <?>, my great grandmother. Any info would be very helpful. I'm sorry about all the holes, I am remember this from the top of my head because all my research crashed on my last computer. He was the only child of Robert and Agnes Galbraith Barr who was born in Canada, all the rest of his siblings were born in Scotland. One of his sisters was Isabella, who married a cousin, Robert Barr, then John Paul. In the 1920 William (born abt 1878 in Canada of a scottish-born father and a canadian-born mother) and Jane (born abt 1879 in english Canada of French-Canadian-born parents. William sayes he emigrated to the US in 1900 and Jane says she emigrated in 1905. They were married about 1907. In the 1920 census, they have 4 children; Isabella (age 10 and born in Canada, so did they go back to Canada at some point and have here there or was this a mistake on the census-taker's part?), Evelyn(age 8), Robert(age 6), and Melba (age 2). Enumerated with her is her brother-in-law Thomas, and her single siblings, Robert and Melba.
