Hi everyone: I have a real brick wall trying to find out more about my Barr's. If anyone can help, I would be most grateful!! My ggrandfather, Robert S Barr, was born abt 1847, we believe in Belfast. He married Jane Simpson of Glasgow and they lived in Belfast. He died 3 Oct 1897 at 106 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast. They had three children: Marion Barr, b 1882; Matthew b 1883 and Robert Simpson b 1886, all in Belfast. Marion married William Dawson Hamilton in 1907 and I have all that line. However, I have nothing on Matthew or Robert, other than a postcard from a Matt that might be this Matthew in 1910 that says that his lungs are much improved (?). Any connections or suggestions at all? Thanks, Marion
