What part of Pennsylvania are your Barr's from. My mother was a Barr from the Indiana and Westmoreland County area dating back to 1750 or so. Have been trying to verify the last two entries I have. Have information off Ancestry that might or might not be accurate. I know for sure back to 1825 in PA. Bill Hi, Bill, I have some BARRS in Pennsylvania (and West Virginia) in the early 1800's. Could we compare some names? The make-up of my families has been taken mostly from census records, marriage records and some cemetery readings. Not totally proven at this point but looking promising.
