I am trying to identify the first two wives of George LAIRD who lived in Chickasaw County, Iowa. He married 1) Catherine ??, by whom he had John Grant, Anna Georgia, and James J. Does anyone know of another 1860 US Census index on-line besides Ancestry.com? I want to search the 1860 US Census for Henry's and Barr's living in Franklin County, Ohio but for over a month now when I query the AIS index on Ancestry it returns no Henry's or Barr's which I know is very wrong. I've seen the hardcopy listings at the libraries but don't have access to one right now. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks. Diane
