It looks like it is the father (name not given) of C. J. SWARR. C. J. Swarr married Katherine H. BARR, who was the daughter of Francis SCHROEDER and Katherine BARR, who was the daughter of John BARR (b, 1795) and Barbara KEEPORTS. John Barr was the brother of the Abraham Barr whose parents I am researching. Are you still with me? I, too, have been trying to find info on this couple by researching the lines of siblings and wives. It has produced some results, and probably some I couldn't have gotten any other way, but it certainly entails a lot of wasted effort, as well. I don't know anything more about the Toby family, and this clue seems pretty far afield. John Barr b. 1795 has no sons named John or William, so yours and mine don't appear to be directly related.
