Mary was the daughter of Elias Jewell & Elma Kennedy Jewell (both of Mount Hope KS). Mary was born in 1899 and died between 1970&1989. I'm not sure this fits in but I have a John Barr b 1810 married to Mary Buck who lived in Whitley Co. Indiana. I have them on the 1850 census of Whitley Co. They had Christopher W. age 10, William Dunn age 9, (my g grandfather), Mary age 7, John age 5, were all born in Ohio. Margaret age 3, Isabel age 7 mo. were born in Indiana. They moved from there to Greene Co., Iowa and had a couple more children, Charity and Marion. John Barr was born in Washington Co., Maryland as was his father Christopher D. who married a Barbara Toby. I have no information on Christopher or Barbara. I bet our Johns are cousins at least. Later, they appear on the 1900 census in York Twp, Medina Co, Ohio. Then, after Conard's death, his widow Eva is on the 1920 census in Isabella Twp, Isabella Co, Michigan. Conard & Eva had (at least) 10 children, who were born in either Kansas or Ohio: Wilbur, Arthur H., George E., Ralph A., Mary, Rachael, Earl, Rosa, Dewey C., and Lula. My wife's line is from Conard and Eva's youngest son Dewey.
