Enumerated with her is her brother-in-law Thomas, and her single siblings, Robert and Melba. Her husband is obviously away as she (or the census-taker) has answered all the questions as though the husband were home, putting down Thomas Maxwell as Evelyn's brother, and putting down Robert and Melba Barr as Evelyn's brother and sister-in-law.

Barr for the past five years, and have nursed and cared for him that length of time, more or less. For the past year or more he has required the assistance of another person. He has not been able since then to dress or undress himself and also requires help in getting into bed and getting up. It would be unsafe for him to be left alone in the house, for any length of time, lest he should attempt to walk across the room and fall on to the floor if such should occur he would not be able to get up again, and he has to be watched while we are in the house with him. I am searching for the parents of Admiral Dewey BARR married to Bessie Belle BUNN in Parsons, Tucker Co., WV - 12 December 1921. Dewey was b. 1898 according to their marriage certificate. I have been able to find a Dewey BARR b. 1898 in Tucker Co., s/o John and Susanna (RABER) BARR, however, this one's full name is George Dewey BARR - not mine. Would anyone have found in your searches - my Admiral D. BARR? I am at a loss right now as to what to do next. I have requested the birth information, but so far nothing has been found.
