He was born in 1871 in Poland and Passed in 1940 in Chicago, IL. I understand he was married 3-4 times I only know of one of his wifes - Eva Simon - they had a child together in 1901 in Chicago (at least Baptised in Chicago) their Child was John J Baron. He lived in Chicago/Suburbs of and in North Hammond, IN. I am looking for any information on his parents, migration, places he lived, marriages. I also understand that when he came here from Poland he came with a brother and the brother changed his name, possibly to Baran. Any help would be greatly appreciated. > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Her first name has several spellings...Michaeline, Michaelina, Michaline. Her Middle name was Frances and alot of people called her "Minnie". She was born in 1902 in Warsaw Poland. The records I have indicate that her maiden name was Gruczewicz. She had two sisters that I know of and one brother possibly. However, the names are all different. I have records for a Sister Stella Mosko (nee Gapszewicz (mother Anna Wojciechowski and Father Frank Gapszewicz)) born 1909 in the US lived in North Hammond, IN, the other sister all that I know for sure is her name was Mary and lived in either IN or IL and possibly married into the Payonk family, as for the brother I have postcards from the 1940's and 50's signed Walter, and 1 was signed Walter G. Walters. Any information on any other these people or my grandmother would be greatly appreciated and would help me straighten out the confusion with the different nam! es! > so I can continue to locate records such as birth, immigration and parents. Michalina Baron was married to John J Baron May of 1923, she also passed in 1988 in Hammond, IN. > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
