I do not know anything about his history prior to 1900s. However, I found a 1920 Federal Census conducted in East St.L:ouis (Illinois) for a George Baron who was (as it states) naturalized in PA. I believe this George Baron was a brother of my grandfather. Many of the Baran/Baron of East St. Louis (Illinois ) lived in eventually moved to St. Louis, Missouri.
