There was a Joseph Baron in my family. He was born and lived in the Kiev area, but vanished mysteriously as a young adult. I know nothing more. There is a chance he may have immigrated to the US, but his brother who was already never knew anything about it. There is also a chance he may have died during the Holocaust.
