He must been named after someone. My grandparents never spoke about the past or our family history but my father stated that we "started western civilization and on my great granfather's side were descended from tribe of Benjamin (Jesus's relatives). I have no idea of my grandfather's(Baron) ancestry. I only know he was some kind of aristocrat in Russian Georgia but wasn't Russian. I think he was Scandinavian and German. My cousins are very curious since there aren't too many of us left. We all want to know who are ancestors really were. A lot of secrets and misinformation is out there.
