Jan 12, 2004 Page C-3 Harrison Co., OH Tillie Erdos, 83, of New Athens, died Jan 6, 2004 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Gallagher, W.V., a daughter of the late Albert and HELENE ( BARON ) Hopkins. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church at Flushing ; Franklin Museum Committee ; Catholic Women's Club ; Flushing Senior Citizens ; Harrison County Democratic Women's Club and New Athens Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Erdos and two sisters, Rejane Crothers and Marlene Secrest. Surviving are three sons : Lanny ( Jean ) of Smithfield : Terry ( Rita ) of New Athens : Babe ( Sue ) of Morristown ; 11 grandchildren ; 21 great-grandchildren ; two brothers, Albert Hopkins of New Athens and Harold Hopkins of Waverly, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated Jan. 9, 2004 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Flushing, by Monsignor John Cymbor.
