My grgrandfather is Jacob Baron. I believe he lived in Lithuania. Married Pauline Jacobs about 1880, had two sons:Abraham and Moses(my grandfather.) Jacob and his family left the old country in the 1890's eventually settling in St Paul Minnesota. I had been stuck trying to find Jacob's family until very recently I obtained his death certificate which listed his father as David Baer Barron. As far as mother's maiden name, it said "unknown." Moses was born in 1883, Jacob in 1855, David in 1834.I've found some ship manifests that show several Barons traveling together to the US in the 1880's 90's & early 1900's. There seem to be several brothers, or cousins in Moses generation: Berel '78;Israel '86;Mendel '87; Chaim '73;Berl '68; Nachman'68.
