Herbert, Edith, Alfred W. and Charles G. My Grandfather was Herbert, born in 1875. He died before I was born. He and my Grandmother had one child who was my Mom. My Mom and your Grandmother Wilma were first cousins. If your Grandmother lived in Joliet she and my Mom didn't communicate very often. I don't remember her. I have a picture and newspaper article about Charles G. who my Mom referred to as Uncle Gene. He was coming to Joliet from California for a visit. In 1882 George E. was born in Illinois. My Mom called him Uncle Ernie. We went to Planfield to visit with Uncle Ernie and Aunt Abbie quite often. They moved to South Gate, California to be near their sons.
