The man was not helpful but I found info at the Plainfield Library. Myrtle is there but she does not have a stone. You are absolutely right about Myrtle-that's what I get for working late at night-I read the wrong info. Myrtle Hendricks Baron died 12/26/1976. Her daughter Wilma, my grandmother, died 8/12/1988. Wilma was married to Dale Wilson Smith. Together they has three sons, the youngest of whom is my father. When Dale died, Wilma married again and they had one more son. So Wilma had 4 sons in all. Myrtle also had another daughter before Wilma, but not with Alfred. Her name was Etta and I am having trouble finding information about her father and if there was a marriage or not.
