The only thing I found out was that Jordan was married before he married Laura Gibson. He was married to Frances Elizabeth Ellen Shaw. They were married January 11, 1870 in Scarborough, York, England. She died in Bempton, York, England May 9, 1874. They had a son - John George Baron born September 28, 1870.
