Baron Greenock Eileen J. (O'Bryon) Baron, 82, of Greenock, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at home. She was born June 8, 1927, in McKeesport, and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret (Lloyd) O'Bryon. She was the wife of the late Edwin V. Baron, who died Nov. 29, 2009. She had worked for the former Sun Drug, in McKeesport, and Mon Valley Shooting Supplies, in Clairton. She was a member and past Matron of Clairton Chapter 316 Eastern Star and was past Matron and Watchman of Shepherds in the White Shrine No. 16. Eileen was also a member of the Buena Vista Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Baron, of Greenock; brothers, James (Elizabeth) O'Bryon, of Jefferson Hills, and Lloyd (Florence) O'Bryon, of Titusville; a sister, Patricia (Charles) Minnicks, of Adamsburg; and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth. Memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
