    1. BARON Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Billy BARON taken at the Wissler Studio in Canton, Ohio. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Billy likely only about 1 year old at the time. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this precious photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

William BARONS married Susanna LLOYD on March 17, 1825 in Ashburton, Devon. Susanna was born August 31, 1792 in Ashburton to James & Mary LLOYD. William and Susanna had at least two children: William b. 1829 and Mary Elizabeth b. 1833 both in Ashburton. William was a publican who operated the Golden Lion in Ashburton. Apparently he was quite a "polititian" as he got into some trouble after a man who opposed his political party was beaten quite badly. Does anyone have connections to this BARONS family??

    1. Manchester, England Research
    2. I am researching a family from Manchester, England. They immigrated about 1840-1845. I don't know the port of entry, but they settled in New Jersey, later moved to Wisconsin and finally returned to New Jersey. The parents are William Baron and Mary Jane <unknown>. At the time of immigration they had three children, Jane, Anna and Amos. William was a blacksmith. I know little more about this family's life in England, but have an extensive amount, including pictures, of their lives here in America. If you know anything of them, you will help me break through a three and a half year old brick wall. I am happy to share all I have. Susan Barron Petersen
