I have an uncle Albert Baron who lives in Greenville, NY. Would this be the same Albert? His father was James of England. James had 3 wives, Anges Harris, Jane Ellen Houghton, and Catherine Belle Hendry. If this is your uncle, then we are cousins and I am trying to find the missing links in my genealogy too. Hope this helps. Tobey

Surnames: Wargo/Husovsky/Lazas/Tirpak/ Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SVC.2ACEB/174 Message Board Post: I am researching the Wargo family. My great-grandmother, Anna (Hillan) Wargo re-married to a person by the last name of Baron, first name unk. This marriage had to take place after the 1930 census since she is still listed as a Wargo (widow) and no mention of any other male other than her son. She is buried with her first husband, Michael at St. Joseph's Slovak Church in Nanticoke. I can only assume she died somewhere other than Nanticoke and was buried with her first husband. Very sketching info received mentioned she may have died in Washington, D.C. If any one has any information or can offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Claude Sprinkel Rocklin, CA

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SVC.2ACEB/152.1 Message Board Post: Chapdelaine is the real name of the family in France, but they were a lot and took surname to be recognize. André, born in 1666 in Plomb (Manche) had for surname "La Riviere" and when he arrived in Quebec, the name became "Chapdelaine -La Riviere". Beaulac is the same think, but it is not usual in France, only in Quebec. I study Chapdelaine family all over the world since 20 years. I have 10 000 Chapdelaine in my computer. I know very well the story of this family in France and in Quebec.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SVC.2ACEB/48.1 Message Board Post: Hi Judy: I tried to email you but it came back undelivered. I saw your post on the Baron message board in Rootsweb.com. You wrote it on July 31, 2000 so its kind of old. Are you still looking for information on Louis Baron and Elisabeth Cote? I have some information you might be interested in. Louis Baron's daughter Georgianna married Arthur Baron about 1902. Arthur Baron is my grand-uncle. Arthur and Louis are first cousins, imagine that. These are Louis Baron's forefathers, as far as I know, starting with his father: Francois-Xavier, Francois, Simon, Joseph, Jacques, Isaac, Jean, and Jean who was born about 1538 in Ardennes, France. These are Elisabeth Cote's forefathers, as far as I know, starting with her father: Isaie, Jean-Baptiste, Augustin, Jean-Baptiste, Jacques, Jacques, Noel-Jean, Jean who was born around 1610 in Mortagne, Perche, France. I am quite interested in the Baron line. My grandmother was Amelia Baron, daughter of Cleophas Baron, son of Antoine, son of Francois, Simon, Joseph, etc. as above. Perhaps we can share information we have collected on these lines. Do you have any Despres in your lines? Despres and Barons were known to have intermarried and I think my mother has relatives in Sanford, Maine from both her parents. Hope to hear from you soon.

The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Billy likely only about 1 year old at the time. I was hoping to locate someone from this family so that this precious photograph could be returned to the care of family, however, I was not successful so I have passed the photograph along to the Stark County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society in hopes that they will have better luck locating a family member. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact them. Thanks, Shelley
