I know that Nellie Baron married a Penjamin. I understand that the Penjamin family and Baron family lived in Mather, Pennsylvania in the early 1920's and knew each other well. I did talk to a Mrs. Penjamin in Ohio a few years ago she remember Frank Baron - put she has since passed away. Unfortunately I didn't get back to her to ask more information. Frank Baron was Nellie's older brother and he was my cousins father. I am trying to find where Frank and Nellie's mother and father are buried, died or any pictures your family might have of the Baron family. I would appreciate any help you could give me. She recently found out the person she believed to be her father is not her father and has little information. What little of the story we know is that my grandmother (born 1930) met a man in Indiana Alan Baron (not sure if spelling is accurate). At some point she went back to Pennsylvania and Alan followed her. I am not sure if the child was conceived in Indiana or Pennsylvania. We don't know why she gave their daughter her husbands last name but her husband was aware of the affair and that this child was not his biological daughter. >From family the only details we know of this man is that his name is Alan Baron (spelling not sure of) and that he might have been born in Texas or grew up there. He clearly spent some time in Indiana and Pennsylvania around 1955 give or take a year or two. And he talked about having a brother. If any of this sounds familiar please contact me. My aunt to get to know her father's side of the family or be able to get information to fill in the gaps. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There was a Joseph Baron in my family. He was born and lived in the Kiev area, but vanished mysteriously as a young adult. I know nothing more. There is a chance he may have immigrated to the US, but his brother who was already never knew anything about it. There is also a chance he may have died during the Holocaust. Either way, had he left for the US, he would have been on his own, with no family to help him. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have found 2 census, one spelled Baron, and the other Birran. On John's wife Mary's death cert. it was spelled Biron. Mary's maiden name was Dolinski. After talking to relatives, their name could have been Berinski before immigrating. The census said they were both born on Bohemia. John immigrated in 1885 and Mary and their first born John in 1886. Once in the USA, they lived in Duluth, MN. Their other children were Mike, Willie, Annie, Mary, Eddie, Susie, and Caroline. Mary died in childbirth with Caroline who was a twin. The other twin died at birth. If anyone has any information, or advice on how to find them, it would be most appreciated. Thank you.
