On the 1870 Census he was listed with Ella M. (Fislar) and his younger brother, Eli. Ella was his second wife. David and Ella are buried at Earlham Cemetery, Richmond, Indiana. According to Bartholomew Historical Atlas, David was born on Section 33, Sand Creek Township. He was a Justice of the Peace. From 1879 Bartholomew Co. Ind. Atlas provided by Allen County Public Library, David was born Aug. 10, 1839 on Section 33 Sand Creek Township and in 1879 had one child and was Justice of the Peace. (That would have been Chauncey.)
