I am searching for a John Barnhart in Pennsylvania. He either emigrated to PA from Germany as a young lad or was born in PA. His parents were Anthony Barnhart and Catherine Mellinger and siblings, that I know of, were Fanny, Herman, Samuel, and Anthony, Jr. It appears he enlisted in the Revolutionary War from Lancaster Co. He married Barbara Flury 24 Jan 1777. They had no children in their 25-year marriage. I have information on John, his next two marriages (Balsley sisters), children and descendancy since1802.
