Peter Barnhart B: abt 1795 New York? M: Elizabeth(?) Fredeuberg(sp?) 1st known child of Peter & Elizabeth (Fredeuberg) Barnhart 1. John Barnhart, B: abt 1817 New York M: 10 March 1842, Coshocton Co., Ohio, Mary Ann Arnold she died abt 1866 Monroeville Ind. John married second Harriet (Grabbs) Lovelace the widow of Leander M. Lovelace. Harriet had a daughter from this marriage named Minnie (Lovelace) Dague. Children Of John & Mary Ann (Arnold) Barnhart 1. Arnold Cornelius B: 1844 Harrison Co., Ohio, M: Mary A Dickerson 28 Oct 1866 in Monroeville, Ind. D: 18 Apr.1867 of gas gangrene and typhoid contracted while POW during the Civil War. 2. Caroline No info available 3. Thomas Taylor B: 28 Nov. 1845 in Ohio. M: 23 Oct 1870 in Vermilion Co., ILL Lettisha Ann Wray. Later removed to Ottawa Co., Kansas abt 1880/ Beagle, Miami Co., Kansas. D: 5 Feb. 1931 Danville ILL. 4.James B: Oct 1848 Ohio. M: Josephine______? 5. Enoch B: May 1850 Indiana 6. Cyrus B: abt 1853 Monroeville Allen Co., Ind. 7. Mary B: abt 1856 " " " " " " 8. Anna Belle B: ? Died 14 May 1902 Ind.? M: ____?____Steward. 2nd Known Child Of Peter & Elizabeth (Fredeuberg) Barnhart 2. Jacob W. Barnhart B: abt 1826. M: 15 Nov. 1856 Wayne Co. Ohio, Mary Craven. D: 18 Oct 1862 Monroeville Ind. of Typhoid Fever contracted while POW during Civil War. He and his nephew Arnold were in the same unit during the war. Children Of Jacob & Mary (Craven) Barnhart 1. Capitola B: 15 Nov. 1859 Monroeville Ind. 2. William Samuel Curtis B: 5 March 1862 D: 18 March 1864 Monroeville Ind. In the book A Pictorial History of Fort Wayne Indiana. Pub. 1917 .PG 633 says Monroeville, Ind. was platted by Jacob and John Barnhart, sons of Peter Barnhart. I follow the line of Thomas Taylor & Lettisha Ann (Wray) Barnhart and have info on that line if anyone needs it.
